Suicide is the leading cause of death for Australians aged between 15 and 44 with around 3,000 people dying by suicide every year. This is a dreadful statistic that we must do something about. Suicide is a word thought about in our family every day since the death of our son, Jay, in 2012. Jay left behind a wife, 3 children, parents, brothers, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He is missing out on a gorgeous nephew and two beautiful nieces that have been born since he left us. We are missing out on a hard working man with much to offer and the void will never be filled.
We have decided to take part in the Suicide Prevention Campaign again this year and 'Take a Minute, Change a Life'. The funds raised go to Lifeline and Mental Health First Aide, two very worthy causes.
Please think about donating either through this page or if you see us on the road to Tasmania throw a dollar or two in the bucket.
