Di 'n' Harrii's ride around Tas

By Di Ranson

This is a cause close to my heart. Suffering from a mental illness myself and knowing how hard it can be, and sometimes still is, to seek help I can think of no better way than combining my love of bikes with my desire to raise awareness of this issue.By riding riding my 'man' Harii around Tassie with a group of like minded people (stopping along the way to have a chat with the locals) I hope to be able to help people open up and seek the help they may never have known was available to them or felt they could not ask for,  then I will be a very happy person.

The money you so generously donate to my page will be used to help raise $200,000 to fund 500 scholarships in Mental Health First Aid training for Defence and Emergency Workers. This demanding work means they may experience the trauma of mental illness at twice the rate of other Australians. So with this training, these heroes can identify and respond appropriately to a colleague in crisis, keeping them safe from harm. Thank you in advance for your generous donation.

Cheers Di 'n' Harii
