This year as well I will be one of the many messengers of the Black Dog Ride, to raise awareness on the phenomenon of depression and suicide. Once more I will be surrounded by wonderful people, filled with hope and will to save lives.
This year my ride will be a little bit different, as the last few months have been quite complicated and I am literally a survivor: last November I was diagnosed with brain cancer and in the following weeks I underwent two brain surgeries to remove a nasty form of tumor. Leaving the past behind is not easy and it will not be possible, as the cancer will be there forever, under control, but ready to reappear.
So, here I am again, ready to sit on a bike and put myself on the narrow line of a road, thinking about those who want to survive, no matter what life gives them, no matter how hard accepting it is. Join me with a small donation, to help families without support, fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, friends who are struggling with something in their heads, squeezing their souls out of strength.
A big hug,
